Lilac Parade - Donate Life Float
Saturday, May 9th
It’s that time of year again! We are once again looking for individuals to ride on or walk alongside the Donate Life float this year in Rochester’s annual Lilac Festival Parade on SATURDAY, MAY 9. Total time commitment: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm. We must know by Tuesday May 5 how many riders/walkers will be participating - organ, tissue and cornea transplant recipients, donor family members, and living organ donors. Signs must be made for each rider/walker. We all wear Donate Life t-shirts and we must be sure everyone still has one in their closet. We also want to be sure we have enough donuts/bagels/juice/coffee for our pre-parade tailgate in the parking lot.
As we leave the month of April (National Donate Life Month) the parade is a perfect venue in May to thank our community for their support of donation.
If you are interested in participating, please get in touch with Karen Guarino (585) 272-7890 or KGuarino@rehpb.org
