  • Working actively in the community to promote organ, eye, and tissue donation

Social Hour begins at noon with dinner to follow at 1:00pm 

Cost: $15/person (TAO underwrites a portion of the cost)

Congratulations to Debbie Yendrzeski!

Debbie, our TAO Vice President, was recently awarded the Elizabeth Crozier Award for her long service as a volunteer with the Friends of Strong. Debbie visits with transplant patients, delivers comfort bags to patients, and supports family members in the Family and Intensive Care waiting rooms. Debbie, we thank you for your commitment to this important volunteer work, and congratulations on this well deserved recognition.



Transplant News

Check out the article in the 'Transplant Times' this month (see the Newsletter link on this page) that describes a new breakthrough in preservation of hearts for heart transplantation. The breakthrough promises to increase the availability of much needed hearts for transplant.
